Zyrova Chart

Zyrova Chart is built for Interactive Brokers account holders. It reads the market data your IBKR account gets through IB Gateway on your own PC. Follow these steps once, in order. It takes about 15 minutes.

If Windows says "Windows protected your PC"
This blue window is Microsoft Defender SmartScreen. Windows shows it for any app that is new and hasn't yet been downloaded by many people. It is not a virus warning. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Why you can trust this file
Stop if Windows says something else. If Defender says it found a threat, or the file name isn't zyrova-chart-setup.exe, don't run it. Delete it and email hello@zyrova.com.

In IB Gateway click Configure → Settings → API → Settings, set these, then click OK.
These settings are saved, so you only change them the first time.

In IB Gateway click Configure → Settings → Lock and Exit.
IB Gateway then restarts by itself each night instead of logging you out. IBKR still asks you to log in again about once a week, usually on Sunday. Zyrova Chart reconnects by itself after each restart.

Log in to IBKR's website (Client Portal), open Settings → Market Data Subscriptions, and add what you want to chart. IBKR bills these, not Zyrova.
New subscriptions can take a few minutes to start. Without them you see error 10089 or no prices.

Check IB Gateway is open and logged in, and that the port in Zyrova Chart matches the Socket port in IB Gateway (4001 live, 4002 paper).
Another app is connected to IB Gateway with the same Client ID. Close it, or change the Client ID in Zyrova Chart to another number, such as 31.
The market data subscription for that symbol is missing on your IBKR account (step 7).
OPRA (US Options) data is needed. The expected move is drawn after the 9:30 open.
IBKR sends live data to one login at a time. Logging in to TWS, the IBKR website trading screen or IBKR Mobile with the same username can take the data away from IB Gateway. Log out of the other one and the charts pick up again.
Turn on Auto restart (step 6). After the weekly login, Zyrova Chart reconnects by itself.
